Yes, it’s now officially May. Time flies, especially when good things are afoot. Such is the case up in Portland, O for SCOTT ALTUS. He’s just been officially given the title, and responsibilities, of being Creative Services Director at Fisher Broadcasting’s KOMO, the CBS affil. Scott had been at KOMO as Creative Director, but now he’s got the whole enchilada, including Graphics. He’s excited, and so is his family. They just aren’t the uprooting kind – he’s been in the coffee capital for over 20 years. Originally from Atascadero, CA (which you can Google if you want…it’s near the crown jewel of cities Santa Barbara…in San Luis Obispo County), Scott has worked in Seattle as a writer producer at KING and also at the FOX station, KCPQ. Since he’s up to his eyeballs in work, he won’t get to pop that champagne cork just yet. But we all send him our best Well Dunne!
NBC has the greatest plans and name in their DotComedy franchise. They also named SEAN REDLITZ to managing director from producer, NUDS, aka NBC Universal Digital Studios.
