Lots of news out of PROMAX. One of the hot items is CHRIS MOSELEY and her new job as Senior Vice President of Marketing for The History Channel. Chris will report directly to NANCY DUBUC, Executive VP and GM of the cable net. Besides her own company and her stints at Hallmark, Discovery, and ABC News, Chris has worked station-side at WBAL in Baltimore, WTNH in New Haven, WFSB in Hartford, Miami’s WTVJ and indie WPIX in The Apple. A hearty Well Dunne! Chris. So glad to see this exciting new challenge.
Another New York tidbit comes from flagship WCBS. BRUCE BRAUER has been upped to VP of Creative Services. He’s been there about 2 years, and the VP-ship is now his. Good job!
Our home is a Tennis Home…my son went to NICK BOLLETTIERI’S famous tennis school in Florida and is a real pro. No, I mean a real pro who teaches tennis. So when all eyeballs were on Roland Garros and the French Open on The Tennis Channel, it was fab to hear the music, then more fab to find out those tunes were done by Dallas’ STEPHEN ARNOLD MUSIC. Cool.
Know what a Man Cave is? Well, check out DIY Network this coming Saturday (the 16th) AT 1pm and see for yourself. Hint: TONY “THE GOOSE” SIRAGUSA, the former NFL player, will be there to tell ya all about it.
The Hallmark Channel chose spark creative out in LA to do their new image campaign, rebranding the cable net
