The Graphics Department at Albritton’s WJLA in DC has added two. Joining the creative team led by CSD STAN MELTON JR is ISAM DAHL, who is a Design Animator. He goes by Sam, thanks for asking, and he makes the transition from Planet Vox, where he was an Assistant Producer over cool projects. I hear the he is now a Designer Animator at WJLA. Sam was born in the San Francisco Bay area, but has lived in the DC environs so long, he’s totally at home there. His work is slick and he is a NICE GUY! That’s what they say. The second creative is MIKE BATISTA, who’s climbing out of the DC freelance pool. He’s from the northern Virginia area, so he’s also at home. Well Dunne! to you both!

Remember Smokey and the Bandit? Well, wheelman BURT REYNOLDS does, and he’s transforming some of those old Trans Ams into Bandit cars for DIY. Plus, there’s the chance to win one for yourself. Go to Heavy.com and check out the whole thing. I did mention the show begins on Oct 19, right? I’m sure I did.
