PHIL KRAFT, who I discovered in the newsroom in Charlotte, is the new Sr. Writer Producer for Marketing at COX’s market-leading ABC affil WFTV in Orlando, FL. He’ll be leaving the fine folks at CBS’s KPIX in the Bay Area to make the move across country. The reason? Love. His wife TANYA has a fab new gig in the Sunshine state. She’s a traffic engineer, and the two relative newlyweds have been on opposite coasts for quite some time now. You can imagine the fun in that…not. SO, Mr. Phil pitched for the job and CSD BOB ST. CHARLES agreed it was a great fit. Phil has been promoing at ABC affil WJLA for CSD STAN MELTON JR, too. Don’t you just love it when the kids grow up and do well? Well Dunne! Phil. See you soon!
I love the way The Sportsman Channel wrote about the new job given to JENNIFER GNAS. TSC said she was elevated. Isn’t that a great way to say promoted? She’s now … Senior Coordinator/Public Relations and Event Planning. Also at the channel which focuses on ‘all hunting, all fishing all the time’ comes word of another elevation. Jennifer comes from Lifetime and has also worked at NBCU’s SciFi Channel and USA Network. But wait – there’s more. Former Hallmark Channel VP of Ad Sales JENNIFER MCGUIGAN is WE tv’s new vice president of trade marketing. She’s a Middlebury grad. And completing the hat trick is Franklin & Marshall’s KEREN UNRAD who comes over from Oxygen. Way to go and Well Dunne!
