When last we heard from the talented CHRIS WOLF, he was in the seaside city of Norfolk, Dominion of Virginia, creatively managing the fine folks at WGNT, the CBS owned WB affil. Now word comes that Chris has a new title and expanded job duties. He’s been named Regional Director – Programming and Creative Services for WGNT, Tampa’s WTOG as well as Atlanta’s WUPA. It’s a perfect triangle. Chris will office in Norfolk and he’ll report to STEVE SOLDINGER, VP/GM of the Stations. Did I say they were all owned by CBS? Yeah, I think I did. Well Dunne! Chris.

God Bless David Letterman. He’s going to pay his writers out of his own pocket til the end of the year. Read all about it from the one and only Nikki Finke

Thanks for being so patient and, on the part of many of you, supportive while I had laryngitis. Yes, the inability to talk for the last few days has been not only painful, but downright disruptive in writing the blog. From Saturday night until late last night, I was out of commission. But now, I’ll just have that much more news to share. PS – Zinc tablets work pretty well, but they didn’t make the cut with this particular virus. Stay safe out there.
