Cool name alert. QUINN PALMER is the new writer producer at Schurz’ CBS affil KWCH in Wichita, Kansas. Quinn is an Iowa girl, raised in the farm community of Coon Rapids, IA. With her degree from University of Iowa in hand, she did some great work at Hearst’s CBS outlet KCCI in Des Moines before DAVID BELL, CSD at KWCH, grabbed her. “She’s got that creative spark,” Mr. Bell told me. Wahoo…you found yourself the ideal person to add to your team. Well Dunne! Quinn. Can’t wait to hear more about you.
When BOB WOOLEY took the open slot writing and producing at Atlanta’s NBC affil WXIA, he never thought the verdant green Southeast landscape would be as dry as his Las Vegas environs. Bob left the fine folks at CBS affil KLAS in the desert, and now finds himself smack dab in the middle of the drought. Bless your heart, Bob. Well Dunne! on the new gig. Thanks to LEE MINARD for the update.
She’s published! The lovely and talented ANDREA LAIGN, who by day writes and produces for ABC affil WJLA in DC (works with my buddy STAN MELTON – the lucky girl) is by night a writer! Click here and read her ‘nails it’ article about being a promo person. Good job, Girl! Well Dunne!
Think About This: “I have always looked at life as a voyage, mostly wonderful, sometimes frightening. In my family and friends I have discovered treasure more valuable than gold.”
