Another sad report. Many of you BDAers remember and know JENNIFER DAVIDSON, who recently held the title Sr. VP of Programming & Scheduling for Cartoon Network. She passed away suddenly Dec 1 in Atlanta at the tender age of 38. But she packed a lot of punch in those years, career-wise. The Pittsburgh native began at Cartoon doing promos and rose to VP and exec producer in the promo area. She kept getting promotions and was part of the team that launched Adult Swim. She was especially proud of the BDA Gold for total package design for Boomerang. A grad of Virginia Tech, she leaves a husband and three children, her parents and siblings. Those who wish can remember her by donating to the following: FRAXA, the Fragile X Research Foundation (www.fraxa.org); the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (www.leukemia-lymphoma.org); and BrightPoint For Children (www.brightpointforchildren.org).

“You’ll encounter many obstacles along the road to living your dreams. Some obstacles may be real, some imagined, some may be tangible, and some may be intangible. Some of those obstacles will be created by others, and some will be self-imposed. However they manifest, you will always be given the choice as to whether you give them power.” ~ Francine Ward
