Hope all you folks down east are keeping warm. Think of all that snow as the ever hoped for White Christmas. Up in Chicago, where this morning’s temp is 16 and snow is as commonplace as sand on Waikiki, comes word of a new hire at WLS, ABC’s powerhouse station in The Windy City. TONY JURIS came from XETV, the FOX station in San Diego, where he was Sr Promo Producer. Yep, he won a few very gold Pacific Southwest Emmys while on the coast. His new job brings him home – for the holidays! A native Chicago guy, he’s a grad of University of Illinois at Chicago. Other promo job stops along the way found him in Indianapolis, Cedar Rapids and Wausau, Wisconsin. Welcoming the “new kid on the block” is CSD TOM HEBEL. Well Dunne! Tony. No doubt your hot work will keep everybody warm this winter.

Think about this: “Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.” ~ Calvin Coolidge
