One of the prettiest parts of the country is the Monterey, California area. It’s picturesque, just 115 miles south of San Francisco, has surfing and is the city where California statehood began. And that’s just a small listing of what makes Monterey great. And let’s not forget Carmel on the other side of the peninsula. OK, so you’re sold, right? This lovely area, a hyphenate market including Salinas, CA, is where ED EVEREST has gone, taking the head creative slot at Hearst’s NBC affil, KSBW. He’s been there about 2 months now, and I apologize for just now getting the info to ya’ll. Ed had been at NBC affil WAGT in Augusta. GA. As an Indiana native, I can only imagine he’s thrilled with the California climate, not to mention the vistas. I should have asked if he’s a golfer, what with leaving the Masters Tournament city for Pebble Beach and all. Well Dunne!

This is yummy…The Food Network has promoted CARRIE WELCH to VP Public Relations. She’s heading up the important Food Network – Share Out Strength partnership. A personal favorite.

Would love to know what you think of this. Promo person fired for not having a tidy enough storage area. Check it out from Vegas – click here.
