The head of SwartAd Advertising in lovely LALA land has news. Big, golden news. If you watched GMA Wednesday or were anywhere near that Jumbotron they use, then you’d have seen what ALEX SWART has been doing lately. He designed the Oscar® Best Picture Poster for A.M.P.A.S. and America got first look thanks to GMA. Currently only the 79 known Best Picture winners are shown in the poster. The 80th Best Picture winner will be added on Oscar Sunday, February 24, immediately following the Academy Awards presentation. Alex isn’t a stranger to this whole award poster thing. He designed the official posters of the 73rd and 75th Academy Awards as well as previous editions of the Best Picture poster. That is SOOO cool Well Dunne! Alex.

Speaking of LA, when you tune into NBC4 (KNBC) and listen to the new promo music, it’s courtesy of the talented folks at Nashville’s 615 Music. Same goes for the music behind the NASCAR on SPEED 2008 campaign on, you guessed it, The Speed Channel out of Charlotte. And yes, 615 has offices in NYC as well as a branch in LA’s Valley. Well Dunne!

Lots of open slots…so few hires being made. Yes, I have an opinion about that, but we’ll skip that today. Just remember to clue us all in when you take that great new slot. Movers (at) 602communikcations.com
