I knew he wouldn’t be in a scheduling slot for long…he’s got too many creative genes. I’m, of course, taking about VINCE MANZE at NBC. He’s been named president of creative services for NBC Universal Television, giving up his official old title of president of program planning, scheduling and strategy. He’ll report to the two co-chairs of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios: BEN SILVERMAN and MARC GRABOFF. For those of you who need a little backgrounder on Vince, he’s the “must see TV” and “save the cheerleader, save the world” marketing guy. Not too shabby, eh. I bet he HATES the ‘veteran’ comment that accompanies his name in all the trades, like THR. Well Dunne! Vince.
