Let’s kick off this glorious morning with news from West Palm, as in Florida. As in they AREN’T going to get any of Hurricane Hanna’s rain or winds (big sigh of relief). Actually, the news isn’t weather related at all. The news is about a promotion for one of the good guys – CRAIG DAVENPORT. Craig, who’s been wrangling the creative at Freedom Communications’ CBS affil WPEC down under the palms on the Atlantic Coast, has been given more responsibility and a new title. Morphing from Director of Creative Services into Director of Creative Services/Broadcast Design, he’ll be overseeing the efforts for more web and news graphic support for the Freedom Stations. All from the Florida locale. Well Dunne! Craig!

Sundance has made changes in their marketing area. From their NYC offices (not the gorgeous Utah locale made famous by The Sundance Kid himself) comes word that SARAH BARNETT is now the Executive Vice President of Marketing, Sponsorship and Branded Entertainment, replacing KIRK IWANOWSKI. Sarah’s former title was Sr. VP of Marketing and Creative. Working alongside Sarah will be KIM GABLEMANN, Sr. VP for Sales and Branded Entertainment. Sarah’s background before Sundance includes BBC America. Well Dunne!
