Did you know that Nike began in Eugene, OR? Well now you do. The second largest city in Oregon has news for us involving DINO FRANCOIS, the Creative Services Director of Fisher’s KVAL. A native of Eugene, he’s “done it and gotten the T-shirt” when it comes to working his way up the ladder. Over the 20 odd years he’s been in the biz, he’s done everything, beginning as a floor cameraman and then learning audio and graphics. His first job was at KMTR, the NBC affil in The Emerald City (a nickname for Eugene). He switched over to KVAL in ’93 and has been doing promotions and loving it. Congrats and Well Dunne! Dino.

What do LEE HUNT, Digital Kitchen’s ERIC ANDERSON, MTV’s DARIO SPINA, Nth Degree’s BOB ENGLISH, Corus’ DOLORES KEATING MALLEN and TAXI’s STEVE MYKOLAN have in common? They’re the speakers at the upcoming PROMAX/BDA Toronto C4 Creative Clinic set for Nov. 19. Want info? Go to Promax.org.
