San Antonio has a new resident. Actually, the lovely suburb of Alamo Heights has a new resident. Saying hello to the Alamo City is MATT LAWS, who is now Creative Service Director at Newport TV’s WOAI. The NBC affil is right on the Riverwalk, which is one of the many one-of-a-kind features of this one-of-a-kind city. Matt is making the transition from being CSD at Hearst’s WLWT in Cincinnati. So he’s trading chili with chocolate in it for Mexican food. Sounds like a good trade. Matt, who has also worked at KOCO in Oklahoma City as well as WUPW in Toledo, is already in the swing of things in a town that knows how to enjoy living. His first Spurs basketball game was front row courtside…and in front of Desperate Housewive’s EVA LONGORIA, whose hubby plays for the SA team. Matt is thrilled to be in SA. Just wait til it’s time for Fiesta, Matt. Well Dunne!

Gonna be in Chicago December 16th (that’s a Tuesday)? Then you can score a ticket to the Fall Out Boys for just $10. It’s set for the Chicago Theatre (quelle historic) and will be live on Fuse Network, so you can even be part of a TV show at the same time. A great live concert for just $10…bargain of the year. Check out Ticketmaster for details or info on the fuse.tv website.

Think About This: “There are no little events in life, those we think of no consequence may be full of fate, and it is at our own risk if we neglect the acquaintances and opportunities that seem to be casually offered, and of small importance.” ~ Amelia E. Barr
