Know what, and where, Huskerland is? Don’t Google it – it’s not a pop quiz. For those with intellectual curiosity, Huskerland is Nebraska, so named from the state’s college football team (some say legendary football team) the Cornhuskers. Huskerland is the destination of WILLIE GARRETT, who is going to Omaha’s CBS affil, KMTV. He’ll be the Marketing Manager at the Journal Broadcast Group operation there. It’s a group move…he’s been at the Journal’s Green Bay operation, NBC MyNetwork duopoly WGBA / WACY – TV in Packer-ville. Willie is going home in a sense – he went to college in Nebraska. He’s also going to work with the company’s radio group in Omaha. Radio can be so much fun! His last day in Green Bay is this Friday. Well Dunne! Willie!
