Last week was no less than shocking. The number of CSD’s, writer producers, editors and even graphics artists who were laid off…many people who have been in the business a long time and love what they do…the number was high. Very high. Coast to coast and over in Hawaii – it was a very rough week. Remember that creativity is a gift – one that allows you to share your vision with the world and make it better. Please let Well Dunne! know what we can do to help. Let’s start by highlighting some job sites on a daily basis. For those in the Northeast, in particular, check out Mediabistro. And for those whose love of TV will never die, check out the job board at promaxbda (need to register) as well as natpe and CTAM (requires registration). More job sites tomorrow.

Perhaps you have an idea that can earn you some cash? An innovative invention that will help DIYers get the project done faster, better and cooler? If so, bring your idea to DIYNetwork.com and see what DIY’s expert judges and fellow inventors have to say about your creation. It’ all part of a show called Cool Tools. Winner gets $15,000. Check it out.

Anybody have thoughts on the study that says viewers using TiVo devices would watch spots if they were better spots? More relevant to viewers’ lives? Click here.

Think about This: “There is a place in each of us that is so beautiful, angels smile in its presence. That presence is who you really are. When you can stand spiritually naked, look at yourself and like what you see, you have achieved a great feat.” ~ Ron Rathbun
