One of the best guys in the biz is heading to Southeast Asia. It’s not a permanent move for STAN MELTON JR – he’s going to Viet Nam to give a talk to the Vietnam Television’s Annual TV Conference. He’ll be talking about TV marketing and branding, graphics production, etc. He’s the perfect candidate to handle the topic! Stan will be there a few days (and if the clock permits, might get in a bit of scuba diving) and then be back to the DC area, where he and the family are based. Can’t wait to see what company shows their brilliance by hiring him for a top creative job. Well Dunne! Stan!

Stan, btw, got the nod to talk form a Linked In connection. LI is the best…and the best way to get hold of me. Sign up now and then you’ll be able to share information for Well Dunne! without a lot of spam or problem.

The NYTimes take on the CNN buzz following the Anderson Cooper – Kathy Griffin exchange. What is it they say? Any publicity is better than no publicity?

Get ‘em while they’re hot. 3D glasses for this year’s SuperBowl preview of the Dreamworks film Monster vs. Aliens. It’s a co-promotion with Pepsi/So-Be Water and, according to the AP Report; they’re going to be giving out the glasses at grocery stores, electronics stores…everywhere. Cool.

Entertainment Weekly says that SCRUBS’ creator Bill Lawrence is a huge fan of promos, especially for his show. Check it out.

Think About This: “Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet. Make all your friends feel there is something in them. Look at the sunny side of everything. Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best. Be as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your won. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Give everyone a smile. Spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticize others. Be too big for worry and too noble for anger.” ~ Christian D. Larsona
