Huntsville, AL’s WHNT is the new home for STEVE DEES. He’s doing his creative promo producing thing at the CBS affil in a most gorgeous part of the world…close to family for him, too. Steve comes across the Delta from KHBS/KHOG in Fort Smith, AR. He’s working with one of the most fun ladies in the promo world: shout out to CSD JUDY CORNELIUS. Way to go Steve ~ Well Dunne!

JIM CORBOY, the new head creative at CBS’ WBBM in The Windy City gets a fab write up in the Chicago Sun Times. Jim’s a great guy who just recently spent a very interesting day at the Kennedy Compound at Hyannis Port, MA. Gotta ask him if he played touch football with them all. Well Dunne! Cool…an alum from my very own STEPHENS COLLEGE is a contestent on tonight’s PROJECT RUNWAY premiere. Go Qristyl Frazier!

Sunday’s 60 Minutes will be entirely about DON HEWITT.

Speaking of CBS…they continue to get a lot of press for their Fall promo push. This year, they’re putting tiny screens in a magazine so you can watch the spot Remember when they put ads on eggs? Every year, they come up with a cool idea that gets millions of dollars of PR buzz. Well Dunne!

Wow…complaints on the net seem to be getting attention from companies. Buick is pulling a car entirely and Kodak has launched a naming contest for a camera So let that be the door opening on what YOU would change. Come on…you know there’s something. I’ll start…with RIDICULOUS phone answering systems that waste my time when I dial stations. God forbid I’d be someone who wants to spend money with ya. Now, I’ll sit back and see if anything happens.
