The newest little bundle of joy to arrive in the Chicago area missed being born on 9-9-09 by just a little, but proud papa JIM MARKETTI doesn’t care at all. He’s thrilled to welcome Sophia Rose Marketti to the world. She debuted at 8.5 pounds and 21 inches long…a beautiful baby who, according to papa Jim, resembles mom. Well Dunne! Markettis. Pictures will no doubt follow shortly.

Neo-Pangea, the PA based agency that has done some amazing digital video and interactive projects for NatGeo has just finished up one for Wal-Mart. In connection with The Martin Agency, they created ”Your Zone” an innovative 3-D online experience that makes rooms come alive without pushing furniture around and hurting your back. Very cool. Remember when this technology was only available at the MIT Media Lab?

If I could, I’d hire the guy who wrote an open letter to RUPERT MURDOCH in regards to the layoffs at the LA Fox affil. He’s a fab writer and he has cojones, too.
