What is BONNIE BARCLAY up to lately? Most of you will respond with “she’s wrangling all the Scripps stations creative efforts”…and you would be correct. Spending most of her time on airplanes, Bonnie has logged in 9 years as the head of The Branding Iron, her Atlanta-based firm that focuses on TV branding. Well, Bonnie has a brand new job lined up and it’s VERY exciting. She’s been named VP and Chief Marketing Officer at Chyron. Bonnie has the TV side down pat, with time at WSB Atlanta, WSOC Charlotte, WFAA Dallas and KOTV in Tulsa. Let’s not forget her PROMAX board position and her Brand Builder of the Year nod. She begins this new chapter June 1. I need to ask her if she’s going to continue to be a frequent flier. Bonnie, pick your favorite Atlanta locale and lunch is on me. Well Dunne! Ms. Barclay.
