Kids…they’re so much fun. And marketing to them is always a good time as well. One such kid focused marketing pro is MICHAEL GROVER, just named Director of Consumer Marketing at The Hub. The Hub is the new multi-platform joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro. Grover was at the Cartoon Network in Atlanta where his title was Marketing Manager. The Syracuse grad doesn’t just talk the kid talk…he was a 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade teacher at Teach for America. He has an MBA from Georgia State U, btw. Well Dunne! Michael.
Also new to the marketing side of The Hub is CINDY SLOCKI, whose title is Director, Integrated Marketing Solutions. She, too, has a background at The Cartoon Network where she was Manager of Promotions Marketing. She’s got a degree from UNC Chapel Hill grad will come over to The Hub from being Brand Director at United Media/Peanuts Worldwide. Yes, think Snoopy and Charlie Brown. Well Dunne! Cindy. She and Michael are getting ready for the October 1 launch, which of course is 10-10-10.
JOB ALERT – ESPN Sr. Promo Producer in LA. Sounds like you would even voice spots, in which case you call Well Dunne! Talent and we help you out on that. Yep, we sure would. Love to.
Product placement can open a very deep-thinking can of worms, which one neurophysiologist terms “buyology”…read about it here.
