Love it when hard-working and talented folks get recognized for their efforts. Love it more when they get promoted. Such is the case out in the Bay Area where AKILAH BOLDEN-MONIFA was given the new title Market  Communications Director. Wahoo! And Well Dunne!

Job Alert: ABC Family Channel is looking for a Creative Director

Seems as if all those jobs that have been on-hold until the first of the year are still not filled. For those with memory issues (join me in this), those jobs are: CSD slots at WJXT Jacksonville, WDSU in New Orleans, KCCI in Des Moines, WTAE in Pittsburgh, WAWS in Jacksonville, WGRZ in Buffalo, KCTV in Kansas City, KVOA in Tucson…Marketing Manager slots at KPTM in Omaha, WTVR in Richmond, WIS in Columbia, SC…Promo Manager at KCWE in KC, WTAE in Pitt, WALA in Mobile, WAXN in Charlotte…Assistant CSD at KHBS in Ft. Smith and a slot they call Promo Producer Manager at KVVU in Vegas.

So, you want to change your logo again? Because the new GM doesn’t like blue or the ND saw one he liked better? Better read this first (and it’s so on target, it amazes)

Making a Super Bowl spot your very own commercial is what the folks at Home Away have done. Interesting….

Interesting article on the iPad and other tablets and their possible impact on creativity.

Think About This: “This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being a force of nature instead of a feverish selfish clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work, the more I live. I rejoice in life for it’s own sake. Life is no ‘brief candle’ to me. It is sort of a splendid torch which I have a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it over to future generations."  ~ George Bernard Shaw
