Coast to coast moves are always exciting if not daunting. But when you’re headed closer to home, it helps offset the gas prices and the trip through the corn belt. Such is the case with DAVE MONTGOMERY who is saying goodbye to the gorgeous Palm Beach market where he has been Senior Producer/Assistant Manager of Marketing/Promotions at Scripps’-owned WPTV. He’s been in Florida for the last four and a half years, but is heading to California, his home state. An LA hometown guy, Dave has a diverse background in both video and film, having worked as an Assistant Director and Editor in the film world. He’s headed to News10 in Cali’s capital, Gannett’s KXTV (the X stands for Roman numeral 10 don’t ya know) where he’ll be Multimedia/Promotion Manager. No stranger to Sacto – he was a creative services producer at KOVR. He’s also been Promo Manager at Vegas’ KNVN as well as an editor at WCBS in NYC. Safe travels, Dave and Well Dunne!

Think About This: "And the Japanese themselves are so wonderful. I come back to my shack to check on it each day, now to send this e-mail since the electricity is on, and I find food and water left in my entranceway. I have no idea from whom, but it is there. Old men in green hats go from door to door checking to see if everyone is OK. People talk to complete strangers asking if they need help. I see no signs of fear. Resignation, yes, but fear or panic, no." ~ Anne Thomas A Letter from Sendai http://goo.gl/YFMsl
