Yes, I know. How can it be October already. Let’s push on from that and turn our sites to beautiful Colorado Springs, where ETHAN BUETE has left the exciting world of TV marketing and has now embarked on a new adventure. For the past several years, Ethan’s title has been Marketing Director of NBC affil KOAA.  Now, Ethan’s Marketer, Messenger, Cheerleader at BombBomb, a Colorado Springs area company that offers video email marketing software sold on a subscription basis (monthly, no contract, no start up cost). Think: Constant Contact or similar, but designed to support video. Check it out at www.bombbomb.com. Also check out Ethan’s eloquent thoughts on his TV career on his blog at http://ethanbeute.com/wordpress/local-television-tv-marketing-advertising-jobs/.  Well Dunne! Ethan.

You ski folks…hold on. Before you dial up KOAA in hopes of nabbing Ethan’s former office…too late. Already on the job is JOANY D’AGISTINO who says she feels like she’s “home” even tho she hasn’t lived in the Rocky Mountain state in 20 years. Joany’s been out east where she handled promo for 12 years at Inside Edition as well as do a turn at writing for CNN NY. Joany is now closer to her college-aged daughter and calls the new station a “good fit”. She fell in love with Colorado about 20 years ago when she was in the promo department of Denver’s KUSA. Forgot to ask if she was a winter snow sports kind of lady…Well Dunne! Joany.

It’s official….JEREMY CLAYPOOL is engaged to the beautiful Lauren. Mr. Claypool popped the question while on a Caribbean cruise (sigh…how romantic). Jeremy is just beginning his second week as a writer producer at LA’s KNBC.

Job Alert – big job alert, actually. VP News Marketing for ABC News. NYC.

Think About This: “Practice means to perform, over and over again in the face of all obstacles, some act of vision, of faith, of desire. Practice is a means of inviting the perfection desired.”  ~ Martha Graham
