Let’s hear it for FAIR HYAMS – the newest member of the creative TV world. He’s now on the job as the Marketing Manager of Shreveport’s KTBS, the ABC affil in the ArkLaTex. Yep, that’s the northwest corner of Louisiana that also includes the corners of Arkansas and Texas.  Had a lovely conversation with Fair (a shortened version of his tres French family name) who is returning to Louisiana after having what he himself calls “two careers”. One as an ad agency director and then as a client-side marketing man for banks and financial instutituions and then the boating industry.  He’s been down Boca Raton way and is thrilled to be back home, especially since one of his son’s is in now-nearby Baton Rouge. Fair is a wonderful addition to the TV side and let’s all give him a big Well Dunne!

The State Fair of Texas prides itself on such things as the TU-OU game, Big Tex and fried food offerings. This year, some of the Frylights include fried bubblegum, fried salsa and last year’s crowd stopper, fried peanut butter and jelly.  Pretty sure you can walk these off at the fair.

Think About This:  “Ego is not Self, it just pretends to be. Without ego, there’s still someone who likes chocolates or avoids cooked carrots, who cusses up a storm or speaks very gently, still someone who represents a unique snowflake of God’s power operating through one individuated form."  ~ Bo Lozoff
