Imagine you have a fabulous house right on the bay in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Now imagine you have to commute 68 miles or more away from said house. Yep, that drive gets old fast. Let’s not even throw in the cost of gasoline. PAULA HERSH is going to give up her commute come June 1 when she joins the government cable channel out of Newport News. Ms. Paula will be saying goodbye to her slot as Marketing Director of WWBT/NBC and WUPV/CW in Richmond, VA. She’s been there for 13 years and saying aloha is tough, but that house on the water, not to mention more time with her hubby, is very enticing. Paula has spent all her promo career time in Richmond, working for radio’s WRXL and then Continental Cablevision. She did head to Orlando and the Golf Channel, but the Syracuse grad is a Virginia lady for sure. May all your sunrises and seafood be spectacular, Paula. Well Dunne!

Think About This: “The grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunshine, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls.” ~ John Muir
