DANI DUDEK is a ball of energy. I remember first meeting her when (then) FOX in Charlotte was signing on their news operation. She was young and enthusiastic and you could tell she had a ton of talent. She indeed signed that FOX newscast on and from there, went to Atlanta, Austin and then LA where her bubbly self ended up at Fox Television Stations. Affiliate relations were a breeze for her…the personality kid. She’s a southern girl at heart, and she loves putting her talents to use making on-air spots, so when she saw an opening in Charleston, SC, one of the most exciting places to live, she took it. Dani is taking the Marketing Director slot at Raycom’s WCSC, CBS in Rhett Butler’s hometown. I know she’ll be mincing about the Battery quite soon when she’s not writing fascinating blogs – that girl can wire!  A big Well Dunne! Danielle.

So what about AMANDA CURRY, the lady who had been Marketing Director at WSCS? She’s been promoted. Raycom was on the lookout for two Regional Marketing Managers to help LEC COBLE, who’s kicking It as corporate marketing guru. He tapped Amanda for one of those slots. She’s a grad of The Ohio State University and that’s all I know at the moment…will catch up with her this week.

Think About This: (for all the great fathers out there) "Sherman made the terrible discovery that men make about their fathers sooner or later… that the man before him was not an aging father but a boy, a boy much like himself, a boy who grew up and had a child of his own and, as best he could, out of a sense of duty and, perhaps love, adopted a role called Being a Father so that his child would have something mythical and infinitely important: a Protector, who would keep a lid on all the chaotic and catastrophic possibilities of life."   ~  Tom Wolfe – The Bonfire of the Vanities
