Who’s going to be in London for the next few days? Why it’s Well Dunne! Talent’s newest talent, JON SPECHT, who’s going to be producing the radio portion of the Kansas City Chiefs game when they tackle (literally) the Detroit Lions across the pond. Now THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is the kind of job that appeals. Jon’s a pro that brings a fresh sound to any project, so you might want to consider him if you’re putting together next year’s plans. 

Speaking of England, another of Well Dunne!’s talents is the voice of the BBC who was heard on all the Jaguar commercials. He’s Englishman PAUL DEAN KELLY and we’ll have to check in to see if he’s an American football fan. Don’t get a fake accent when you need a Brit, people. I could just listen to him talk ALL day long.

Work in concert with News managers, producers, reporters, and photographers to effectively market daily newscast elements to the viewing audience.  Exercise effective news and marketing judgment to determine promotable stories from information available from or supplied by News department in order to determine commercial/topical content.

Effectively manage time, resources, and personnel so that stated objectives are met according to established and communicated deadlines

Perform other duties as needed.


EDUCATION:  College degree preferred.  Experience in News and/or Promotions is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:   A minimum of two years previous experience performing the duties as described above preferred.

KNOWLEDGE:  Proficient in Final Cut X preferred.  Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is helpful.  Shooting with DSLR experience preferred. Experienced in effective social media outreach.  Must present a sample reel (DVD or online). Must possess fundamental computer skills (Word/Excel) and type well. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Strong self-motivation, ability to work with extreme deadlines is essential.  Utilize use of good writing, spelling and grammar to communicate messages internally and externally.  Candidate must be willing to accommodate a flexible schedule and be able to work outside the normal workweek when required.  Ability to act quickly and effectively to instructions, both written and verbal.  Ability to read and comprehend various written documents for purposes of instruction, clarification, or information.  Ability to view and discern video for correct color and quality.  Ability to hear and analyze audio for the purposes of effective sound mixing in the studio or the edit bay.
