RAFAEL CALDERON’s new title is Creative Services Director of Bakersfield’s KERO, the Scripps-owned ABC affil in B-town. He’s been promoted to the slot and, what with it being the May book, still had a moment to catch us up. He’s great…still has a very happy way of talking about this new path even though things are always in such a rush this time of year. Rafael shared the most wonderful story about his drive from LA to SF…how hard it is not to continually stop for the fetching restaurants, shops and antiques along the way. Let’s do it…road trip! Convertible de rigueur, of course. Yes, we’ll stop and take Rafael to lunch and get a tour of the place. Well Dunne! Mr. Calderon!

Think About This: “The next time you diminish yourself in order to keep the peace with someone else, remember…You may keep the peace with them, but you have started a war with yourself. And you’re losing. You are too bright a Light to ever hide in darkness.”  ~ Jerome Braggs
