It would be nice if you could read this when things are quiet. When you’re alone and other people’s energy isn’t bumping into yours. When you are at peace and feel connected with the love that flows through the world. Read it on a monitor instead of your cell phone, so each word has the actual space it needs to make its meaning felt. That would be nice. Because it’s about the loss of another creative light in the world. If you were lucky, you got to see the photos that PATRICK BALDWIN took. He had ‘an eye’ and his subjects always shared their truth with the viewer. That trait no doubt was the driving force in his work doing TV promo for Hearst. He was in Boston and Milwaukee at their operations. Patrick was a Midwest guy…who went to college at SIU-Carbondale. Handsome and talented, he was known to give people a chance – their first ‘break’. He had many friends because he was always encouraging and interested – known for sending a kind word when most needed. He had been living out in Northern Cali and passed away at his home there. Like so many, his world had recently been impacted by uncontrollable events. His reaction was simple and wise: pray. Please say a prayer for Patrick. What a sight it would be if he could share his pictures of angels, who are no doubt lining up, with their prettiest halos, waiting to have him capture their smiles. Peace.
Think About This: “A Sufi holy man was asked what forgiveness is. He said “it is the fragrance that flowers give when they are crushed.” ~ Unknown
