Happy endings aren’t just the purview of fairy tales or Hollywood. They happen in real life. Take the case of promotion pro ANDI PARKER. She was at Waco’s CBS affiliate, KWTX heading up their promotional efforts. She was thrilled to make the switch just up I-35 to work with CBS owned KTVT as a writer producer. Then she followed her heart and switched to Daystar TV Network, the Christian operation in D/FW. The whole time, she’s driving her Toyota and relying on “her Toyota guy” who she just doesn’t trust, she won’t allow any other mechanic to so much as open the hood. Long story short, Andi and that guy, JD KIMBROUGH, tied the knot July 10 in the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming. Despite the 55 degree temps and a hail storm (!) in the middle of it all, the happy couple is forging a life together, doing that Brady Bunch thing blending 5 children into one family. Yeah, it’s great to hear about happy endings and happy people. Well Dunne! to the Kimbroughs. Change your contact form to Andi Parker Kimbrough, s’il vous plait.

Jobs update. These are open (as of last night – no guarantees they still are) CSD slots at KMOV in St. Louis, KPRC in Houston, WUVG in Atlanta, KXTV in Sacramento, WISN in Milwaukee, and WNCN in Raleigh. Promo Manager or Ass’t CSD slots open are WBRE in Wilkes Barre, WXII in Winston Salem, KPTM in Omaha, KOAT in Albuquerque,  and WDSU in New Orleans. Yeah, that one in Raleigh is the newest.
