When someone creative passes on…makes the transition from body to spirit…it seems to make our life here on the planet a little less happy. Wish I had known ANDY SCHAEFFER, who was a bright light in Denver media. He made his transition this week. His many, many friends and co-workers have shared such moving, honest stories of his life. Andy was a promo photog and producer at Gannett’s NBC affil, KUSA and had been at the station for 25 years. He had worked at several Denver stations, namely KRDO and KMGH, and was a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. There are no words for loss and particularly no words when a dedicated, talented and beloved creative passes away. All the talent he put into his work has made people notice, people smile, people think. What a testament.
Think About This: “What is it to die but to stand in the sun and melt into the wind. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.” ~ Kahil Gibran
