No matter what beliefs you hold about death, the loss of someone impacts each of us differently. The heartbreak comes to those left here on the planet…missing all that the departed brought into our lives. When someone who has lived a full life, who has blown out many, many candles on their birthday cakes, when someone like that passes away, the sting is lessened by the thought that the time spent here was plentiful. When someone young…someone who had many more trips around the sun, people to know, laughs to laugh…when someone young passes away, it stings so much more. Sadly that is what happened. MARK KARLEN lost a struggle with brain cancer. He was 54. After being Creative Services Director of WFTS in Tampa, Mark was a Senior Design rep for Broadcast Design International. BDI has asked people to visit their website to share memories of Mark and to learn about his wishes for donations in his name.
