BEAR FISHER is still with NBC (where they love her) but in a new role. She’s now SVP Marketing and Brand Strategy for NBCU Television & New Marketing and NBCU Domestic Television Distribution divisions. Whew…that is quite the title! Bear had been Senior Vice President, Brand Strategy and Creative Director for now-shuttered Style Network. The UConn grad has also handled on-air for E! and FX. Well Dunne! Bear.

It’s a stylish promotion for BEAR FISHER  and a stylish move for BOB PEDERSON at, where else, the Style Network, part of NBCU. Ms. Bear’s new title is Senior Vice President, Brand Strategy and Creative Director for the cable net, upped from SVP Creative Director for Style and E!. She’s been with Style since 2001 when she came over from Director, On-Air Promotions at FX Networks. 

Bob is joining with the title Vice President, On-Air Creative. He was most recently the Marketing Director for Film Independent. His background includes high caliber stints doing creative for Comedy Central, Lifetime as well as Disney/ABC Cable Nets and FX Nets. Well Dunne! you two!

While a great  many of you are digging your way out of a ton of snow…let’s see what Comcast Entertainment Group has done, making changes to the in-house creative agency they run. BEAR FISHER is now SVP/Creative Director of E! and Style Nets. She’s a U Conn grad who did great work at FX, too. Bear will get to have LEIGH ANNE GARDNER report to her. Leigh Anne’s title is now SVP/Print and Online Design. Another new title for the biz card will be VP/Print and Online Design. That belongs to MARK SCHNEIDER.  Well Dunne! ya’ll.
