CHRIS CORLEY has one of the most recognized of voices. Networks, cable nets, stations….he’s a talented and lovely man who grew up in the TV world – his father was a TV GM and he saw the business grow and evolve as he did. Tuesday, Chris suddenly and unexpectedly lost his wife, an amazing women who was as pretty as she was fun to be around. MELISSA BUCELL CORLEY and her megawatt smile will be missed. Details will follow should anyone wish to pay respects. Chris and his son would no doubt take comfort in knowing so many of you are including his family in your thoughts. There are so many tears now…

ANNIE GREENBERG is one lucky lady. Her new job has her living in a fabulous Oceanside city – once again. Originally from Ft. Lauderdale, she is now the new Topical Writer Producer out at San Diego’s ABC affiliate, KGTV.  Ms. Annie stopped in the middle of America for a bit, working at NBC affil KSHB in Kansas City, which is the city of fountains. Give yourself a moment to close your eyes and picture a lovely fountain…might cool you off. Well Dunne! Annie.


Condolences and our best to voice talent CHRIS CORLEY, whose father passed away Monday. Rennie Corley was a TV man…for 20 years he was GM of WXII in Winston-Salem, NC. And a class act all the way.

Excellent news for the sports fans amongst you…and if research is on target, it’s a lot of you and growing faster than bamboo. DINO MARKUS has been named Director of Video for USA Today Sports Media Group. He comes over from The Bleacher Report where he was Director of Video Production and Programming. He’s got tons of great background work, including being head writer and producer for Jim Rome is Burning on ESPN. He’s a University of Michigan alum, so all you rabid Michigan folks should be happy for him. A big Well Dunne! to you Dino!

WVEC 13News, the ABC affiliate in the Norfolk/ Virginia Beach, VA market is looking for a talented, highly motivated Creative Services Writer/Producer. As a part of our award winning Creative Services Team, you will have a hand in everything, from writing and editing, both station promotion and client commercials to working half-hour shows and helping to drive our station brand.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication or related field.
  • 3-5 yrs of news promotion/production and/or commercial production experience.
  • Comfortable working directly with station commercial clients.
  • Non-linear editing with hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects and Premier.
  • Demonstrated strong oral/written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks to meet daily deadlines.


Accountabilities:
