Yes, it’s election day, but we know that. Boy do we know that. Let’s relax today, allow the people to vote. What we’ll do head north…to Alaska. It’s what CHRIS HUSSEY has done now that he’s ensconced as Marketing Director of Dinali Media’s KTVA, CBS in Anchorage. Yes, he will see moose, as JOHN RICE did when he was in the 49th state. Hopefully pix will be posted. Chris, who has a degree from University of Wisconsin at Superior, is a wordsmith, who has been a freelance writer as well as a TV promo guy. He learned TV marketing at KBJR Quincy Media’s NBC in Duluth where he was Promo Manager as then CSD. He’s marketed newspapers, written about gaming, done podcasts and was a fitness instructor. He comes from his slot as Marketing Director of Quincy’s KWWL, NBC in Waterloo, Iowa. Well Dunne! Chris!
Think About This: “Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that is you show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work; you don’t give up.” ~ Anne Lamott

Adding an XX chromosome to a department that is XY…isn’t that a lovely way to put hiring a woman? Yep, and it’s how CSD CHRIS HUSSEY described his new writer producer at NBC affil KWWL in Waterloo, Iowa. The Dispatch Newspaper owned station has seen MARIA MAGNER make the switch from News to Creative Services, where her ability to promote the news product is all the more keen, having toiled amongst the Who, What, Where, When and Why crowd. Everybody seems very thrilled about it. Well Dunne! Maria.
BTW, Chris has the most interesting phone message when you dial him. Worth a daily moment to hear what he has come up with.

Think About This: “Passover has a message for the conscience and the heart of all mankind. For what does it commemorate? It commemorates the deliverance of a people from degrading slavery, from most foul and cruel tyranny. And so, it is Israel’s – nay, God’s protest against unrighteousness, whether individual or national.” ~ Morris Joseph
