Cancer has robbed the world of another creative. Robbed the world of a friend, a husband, brother in law…of a unique presence. We are all the less for it. WILL HARRIS has passed away, adding another notch to the unrelenting numbers that cancer claims as its own. For the last four years, Will has been Creative Services Director of Cox’s FOX affil in Tulsa, KOKI. Along the way, he’s done marketing, creative and producing for Cox stations in the Northwest, and did amazing work at KTVU in Oakland in the SF market. He attended Norfolk State U and called Virginia Beach home. So many lives will miss him.

Thirteen years since 9/11. Most everybody reading this was involved in media that day. Seeing a totally different perspective to it all; seeing more than most. Everybody, being their own little mushroom, has different feelings and even different memories of that sunny Tuesday. Perhaps its time to do a video project wherein each person tells about their memories, actions, feelings that day. Before the memories fade.
Cox has named WSB News Director MIKE DREADEN to be corporate VP of news and marketing for their stations. He’s an amazing news guy. Well Dunne! to him.
