Missouri folks are favorites. The home state advantage, so to speak. Such is the case with the wonderful DAVID CLEVIDENCE who has been promoted to Creative Services Director at Sinclair’s duop KVCW/KVMY in Las Vegas. Yes, it is the CW/MYTV combo in Sin City. David hails from the Show Me State and is lovin’ the hot desert life in Nevada’s major city. It’s a promotion for him – love to hear that. David has worked doing TV at FOX in Cape Girardeau, MO as well as WDKA in Paducah, KY. Let’s not forget his work at St Louis’ Silver Streak Production Studios. I should have asked if he’s a Cardinal’s baseball fan. Well Dunne! David. Let’s keep in touch.

Position Summary: Topical Content Promotion; Promotion Coordinator Duties; Maintain Daily Logs; POP: Proof of Performance
 
Responsibilities:
Conceptualizing, writing, and producing daily news topicals, programming promotion, proof of performance, and other promotional spots as required. Producer will participate in daily news meetings involving content strategy and planning. Maintain daily logs, coordinate with traffic, and offsite master control to preserve accurate spot databases. Complete special projects as assigned. Position is supervised by Senior Promotion Writer / Producer.
 
 
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
•    Two (2) years local television promotion experience required.
•    Four (4) year college degree with emphasis on advertising/marketing/television production preferred.
•    Excellent organization, communication, writing, producing, and editing skills are necessary.
•    The ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects is essential.
•    Experience in field production, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite 6 are a plus.
