There seems to be a flood epidemic. MARK DRISCOLL had not one but two before settling down in a great LA place. NICK SANABRIA is still trying to sort out the deluge that took out his studio (he’s still handling his stations – he’s just so versatile) and now I had to waste all day due to water from some dishwasher situation. Which leads to the next item…

OK, so it’s not exactly the source of the mighty Missisip (which is Lake Itaska in neighboring Minnesota) but it’s close enough for today’s post. After Matt spent time and kept warm making awesome graphics and animations for Weigel Broadcasting in Milwaukee, including CBS affil WDJT TV 58, he floated down the most awesome river in the US and is now happily enscounced in that most unique of cities, New Orleans. He’s the new Production Manager/Design Director at Hearst’s NBC affil in Nawlins, working under CSD BILLY PILGRIM, who told us “Matt has already had his first taste of crayfish since arriving; and says he is really looking forward to enjoying the music and culture of the crescent city. “ Well Dunne! California is known for many things…avocado trees, Hollywood and warmth, just to name three. The warm weather is the draw for DAVID LEE, the new Director of Creative Services and Community Affairs at ABC’s KFSN in Fresno. Temps in the greater Fresno area on Monday were in the 68 and sunny range. It’s a nice change for David’s old city, Spokane, WA, where he was at KXLY as CSD and the temps on the same Monday were 44 with rain. Not that David hasn’t been in warm climes before. He did a year in Hollywood right after college and was at WMAX in Macon, GA doing promo. He also did 10 years at KMSP in Minneapolis, not known for its tropical temps. The Great Falls, Montana man is happy to be joining the ABC group, which has some mighty fine talent handling creative, indeed. Well Dunne! David.
