Chicago’s own JAY WADHWA is quite the sport. The Manager of Local Brand Marketing and Creative Services at NBC’s WMAQ in the Windy City has a brand new gig – one they created just for him. That’s impressive. Mr. W is headed to be Senior Director of Creative Services of Comcast SportsNet Chicago. He’s a Boston U grad who’s worked for ESPN, WCBS, CBS, NBC and MSNBC. He’s gonna score big with the new gig. Well Dunne! Jay.  BTW, the picture is Jay’s son in  Halloween mode.

Best wishes are on the way to WNCT’s Marketing Director MARC MORRISTON, who got engaged. He’s so happy, it’s contagious. The Indianapolis bred Marc and his bride-to-be will share details later on the nuptials.

Anybody going to be giving away Halloween vodka tonics?  With extra olives – guarantees your pumpkin’s safety. Please message me….

Think About This: “There is nothing in this life that can destroy you but yourself. Bad things happen to everyone, but when they do, you can’t just fall apart and die. You have to fight back. If you don’t, you’re the one who loses in the end. But if you do keep going and fight back, you win.” ~ Alexandra Monir

Snowy Salt Lake City, sitting just south of the upcoming Sundance, is where TODD MCGOWAN is the new Writer Producer at ABC affil KTVX. The Newport station is not new to Todd, he’s worked there before, in the news department, where he was an editor and handled programming and marketing for "The Hive", one of the digital channels. In his new role, he’ll be the evening topical producer for the 9 and 10p newscasts. He’s definitely a NW kind of guy who has also worked in Spokane. Thanks to his CSD TERRY MCFARLANE for the info.
Read about the upcoming WMAQ Chicago brand makeover, thanks to the
Sun Times. Snaps to the writer who is not quoting the GM, but the CSD, in this case JAY WADHWA.

Think About This "We each have the choice in any setting to step back and let go of the mind-set of scarcity. Once we let go of scarcity, we discover the surprising truth of sufficiency. By sufficiency, I don’t mean a quantity of anything. Sufficiency isn’t two steps up from poverty or one step short of abundance. It isn’t a measure of barely enough or more than enough. Sufficiency isn’t an amount at all. It is an experience, a context we generate, a declaration, a knowing that there is enough, and that we are enough." ~ Lynne Twist

What a Monday. Let’s embrace the here and now and run with it. Of course, it’s sunny where I am and that helps…sorry about that storm Ida over on the Gulf…

Up Chicago way, NBC’s WMAQ’s JAY WADHWA has a new title. He’s now Director, Local Brand Marketing. His old title was Manager of Creative Services. Sounds good. Well Dunne! Jay.

Well Dunne! Talent’s KEVIN GASSMAN kicks off a new gig this Friday. Scottsdale-based Gass (he insists on calling himself that) will host a radio show – MyStudio Radio. It’s on KWSS FM and also online, so everybody can give it a listen. Starts at 2pm Arizona time and you can hear it via mystudio.net  Well Dunne! Kevin.

Speaking of Well Dunne! Talent (how smooth was that? Ha) MARK DRISCOLL did the coolest movie promo for the latest in the popular vampire tales. Take a listen and get those goosebumps.
