WFTV Channel 9 and WRDQ TV 27 are looking for a Promotion Manager that has the talent and ability to win. We need someone that knows their way around a great image spot; can choose the perfect words for sweeps promos; ask a reporter the right questions for a perfect topical angle and, under the leadership of the Creative Services Director, run the day-to-day operation of a motivated department. Key responsibilities include managing TV27, a true independent station as well as all internet sites.
Responsibilities: Be prepared to write, shoot and edit while managing the execution of research based, daily topical processes and production; supervise, train, and lead promotion writer/producers; assist in the management of log inventory and placement; act as liaison with ABC & syndicators regarding promotion and work closely with other departments to execute promotion and marketing commitments.
Qualified applicants will have at least five years of experience as a writer/producer, with demonstrated success in executing daily topical promotion. Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully interact with all departments. Your relationship with our news department will be instrumental to our success.
