Lots going on at the Peacock Net, specifically at the NBC Agency West Coast, where they are mixing the on-air promotion and off-air advertising and digital teams into one creative stew. Chef over the new concoction is JIM VESERA, EVP & Creative Director of NBC Entertainment. With the change comes two promotions. Former CSD at Chicago’s WCIU and Kansas City’s KSMO, DAVE DORE now sports the title SVP Creative Director, NBC Entertainment Marketing from his old job of VP Special Projects. Dave has a background that includes being a VP of Marketing at the WB as well as producing and directing three seasons of live Major League Baseball on TV. Promotion #2 goes to LORENZO DE GUTTADAURO who is now SVP of Brand Creative, NBC Entertainment. The Mizzou grad, who did kick-it work at both USA Network and the NFL, gets to be Creative Director for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Way cool. Well Dunne! one and all.
Digital news stands go up in Philly, a CBS thing.
