Who’s going to be in London for the next few days? Why it’s Well Dunne! Talent’s newest talent, JON SPECHT, who’s going to be producing the radio portion of the Kansas City Chiefs game when they tackle (literally) the Detroit Lions across the pond. Now THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is the kind of job that appeals. Jon’s a pro that brings a fresh sound to any project, so you might want to consider him if you’re putting together next year’s plans.

Speaking of England, another of Well Dunne!’s talents is the voice of the BBC who was heard on all the Jaguar commercials. He’s Englishman PAUL DEAN KELLY and we’ll have to check in to see if he’s an American football fan. Don’t get a fake accent when you need a Brit, people. I could just listen to him talk ALL day long.

Do Creatives really retire? Sure, one stops going to an office, or jumping when certain phone numbers pop up on your cell. But when you’re creative, retirement isn’t actually what society has envisioned – Florida, golf, early bird dinners. It’s off on an adventure, which is what WITI’s LORI WUCHERER is doing, now that she’s turned in her VP of Creative title at Tribune’s FOX affil in Milwaukee. Let’s wish her all the best and a big Well Dunne! on a remarkable career.

God bless her. QUEEN ELIZABETH’s official state birthday (her actual birthday is in the spring) is June 8, when this is being written but mostly not read. Well Dunne!’s actual British voice talent PAUL DEAN KELLY is no doubt having a cuppa in her honor. He’s been the voice of the BBC.  And Jaguar. Very impressive. For the classiest read, well, he is the gentleman.

Think About This: "Be a sweet melody in the great orchestration, instead of a discordant note. The medicine this sick world needs is love. Hatred must be replaced by love, and fear by faith that love will prevail."  ~ Peace Pilgrim

Think About This: "Not to forgive is to be imprisoned by the past, by old grievances that do not permit life to proceed with new business. Not to forgive is to yield oneself to another’s control… to be locked into a sequence of act and response, of outrage and revenge, tit for tat, escalating always. The present is endlessly overwhelmed and devoured by the past. Forgiveness frees the forgiver. It extracts the forgiver from someone else’s nightmare."  ~  Lance Morrow
