KATHLEEN BRACKEN has an exciting new position. After she has her morning coffee, she’s now officing at 20th Television. She’s the new Manager of Affiliate Marketing, and has actually been toiling happily since December. Her background makes her perfect for the task at hand: She was Promotion Manager at FOX’s KTTV in LA and was Creative Services Director at KCOP over on Sunset. Also on her resume are creative slots at Jacobs & Gerber and WWOR in NYC. Great big Well Dunne! Kathleen.

Happy New Year. Let’s all let out a “thank heavens ’09 is over” and move forward with positive energy and the hope that a blank slate will fill with wondrous events. Not that resolutions are on my list, but postings for Well Dunne! will be more up-to-date. Promise.

Long time KMOV TV Director of Operations JIM ROTHSCHILD is going to head east, leaving his hometown Arch in the rearview and set up shop as Director of Ops at legendary WRAL in Raleigh, NC. Jim’s a talented guy who has also worked at KTVI in St. Louis long ago. What a great slot he’s heading to. Well Dunne! Jim.

Well Dunne! Talent’s RICH VAN SLYKE, who has done some amazingly great work for DAVE BAUMANN at WXYZ in Detroit and JUDY SHOEMAKER at WLNE in Providence, is now the new image voice for Detroit’s  Classic Rock Station 94..7 WCSX. Rich is hot people…you should really give him a listen and sign him before his price goes up (and it will).

Job Alert: The CSD slot at Cox’s Seattle shop is open. If you’re interested in KIRO, the CBS affil right on Puget Sound, then go to their website and apply.

That fab news image voice you heard last week on Detroit’s WXYZ and Providence’s WLNE is none other than WDT’s latest – RICH VAN SLYKE. He’s hot and you need to give him a listen.

Every year, the creative team at World Wide Wadio comes up with some great holiday greeting. This year is no exception. Nice to know some things in the biz are constant. You movie buffs will particularly like it.

Think About This: "The first step to be taken in anything we wish to do is to seek divine assistance. To ask God to go with us and work with us, and to enter into such perfect spiritual harmony with God that we can feel His supreme power through and through – that is the first and most important, be it work pertaining to body, mind or soul." ~  Christian D.
