Missouri folks are favorites. The home state advantage, so to speak. Such is the case with the wonderful DAVID CLEVIDENCE who has been promoted to Creative Services Director at Sinclair’s duop KVCW/KVMY in Las Vegas. Yes, it is the CW/MYTV combo in Sin City. David hails from the Show Me State and is lovin’ the hot desert life in Nevada’s major city. It’s a promotion for him – love to hear that. David has worked doing TV at FOX in Cape Girardeau, MO as well as WDKA in Paducah, KY. Let’s not forget his work at St Louis’ Silver Streak Production Studios. I should have asked if he’s a Cardinal’s baseball fan. Well Dunne! David. Let’s keep in touch.

As 2009 winds down (and it can’t be fast enough for anybody I know), needed to come of out vacay time and post some changes.  Let’s start with GAYLE ALLEN, who is now Creative Director of QVC up in PA. She has a fab background that includes serving as VP, Creative Services at Kingworld Productions in NYC, and before that heading up the Promotion & Design Departments at local TV stations including WCCO-TV in Minneapolis, KRON-TV in San Francisco, and WFAA-TV in Dallas. Well Dunne! Gayle.

Out Sacramento way comes word that the Hearst NBC affil, KCRA, has grabbed LARRY KELLOGG to be the Creative Services Director. Larry will make the move from KOAT in Albuquerque. He’s also worked for Hearst in Oklahoma City. Just keeps moving west. Well Dunne!

Belo’s KMOV in St. Louis is on the hunt for a Creative Services Director.

Two Well Dunne! Talents are celebrating birthdays in the next few days. LA’s BRANDON ANGELO puts another candle on the birthday cake New Years Eve. And New Years Day is when Chicago’s NICK SANABRIA celebrates his natal day.

Felicitations! as they say in France. DOMINIQUE GOULET has just joined Lori Pate +. Dominique has a unique title: Connector for the West Coast, which means she’ll work hand in hand with Lori connecting branding, imaging and promotional needs for – wait for it – the West Coast. The Quebec native calls LA home now and was at FOX Sports as well as a Denver-based sports marketing firm, Kroenke Sports. It all comes naturally to her – her father is National Hockey League Hall of Famer Michel Goulet who skated for the Nordiques and the Blackhawks. Well Dunne! Dominique.

The Big Easy (New Orleans for those of you who need a little hand holding) is celebrating Mardi Gras now, and over at Tribune owned WGNO, another celebration is happening. The ABC affiliate is welcoming KELLY DONNELL, who has taken the Creative Services Director slot. Kelly loves New Orleans. He rode out Hurricane Katrina and, over the years, has worked at Belo’s WWL and FOX affil WVUE. His resume includes KGUN in Tucson and KGO in San Fran. No doubt he’s throwing beads and doing wonderful Mardi Gras activities right now. Well Dunne! Kelly. Laissez les bon temps roulez!

Oh, that leaves the CSD slot at Kelly’s old shop, FOX affil WVUE, open.

“I’ve had it with winter” is how KYLE PIERSON explains his move from Barrington’s NBC affil WEYI in Flint, Michigan to Pappas’ CBS affil KDBC in sunny El Paso, Texas. Smart man. Flint does that snow thing pretty good while El Paso definitely does not. Kyle loves his new locale and also spends time in New Mexico as well. Lucky man. He is on the lookout for a writer producer, so spread the word.
