The first part of June was when a very kind, thoughtful and talented man left this dimension. TOM SNYDER used to have the most wonderful thoughts about life, and if you were lucky enough to have him share with you, then you are indeed better for it. Of course he had a brilliant sense of humor – the kind that could make you laugh whenever things looked bleak. He loved sound and he loved advertising and took a turn as a promo writer producer at WPLG down Miami way. He had both sides of his brain in full gear, and founded an ad agency and a distribution system, both helping stations sound and look better. At a very tough time in my life, he popped up unexpectedly and offered an opportunity that saved my sanity (no snarky remarks please). I never had the opportunity to tell him how much it meant to me. I regret that. So, in honor of his birthday August 4, please reach out to someone you know and share with them how much they mean or have meant to you. That would make this day Well Dunne! RIP Tom.

Think About This: “Give sorrow words; the grief that does not speak whispers the o’er-fraught heart and bids it break.” ~ William Shakespeare
