This is an “I told you so” paragraph. For those who remember (and now telling those who don’t) me saying CSD’s make the best GM’s. Why? Because they 1-know how all the station works 2-are people people 3-can learn more quickly and 4-always find a way to make something happen. They do more than “get to yes” and move on, ‘Anyway, former CSD pro CURTIS MILES is a GM for Gray in KC at KCTV. KCTV was just named Station of the Year by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters. Kansas City straddles two states. Curtis’ upbeat view of things is always an energizer. Well Dunne! CM and KCTV.

So Paramount Skydance (or whatever name they come up with) is laying off 15% of their workforce…2,000 people. Most with some connection to communications and advertising. I wonder if the guys calling the shots (in this case a son of a very disliked – no make that loathed – tech billionaire) knows that THEIR new shiny business depends on advertising and marketing to be successful. Think about it. No Well Dunne for them.
