And just like that…November and most of 2022 is gone…..
How does one transition from military service to creative services? KATIE STRANGE did it, and the answer is with ease. The Elizabethtown, Kentucky native spent six years in the US Army before her hire as a writer producer for Hearst’s CBS affil, WLKY in Louisville. A member of the Signal Corps, she was stationed in Maryland at Fort Mead as a combat photographer. Luckily, she never heard bullets whiz by her head. After her service was over, she took her talents and goals and applied to PAUL CHAPLIN, the creative honcho at WLKY and now she’s happily at work. She’s got an excellent ownership group and CSD to help her navigate the way. From the sounds of her enthusiastic voice, she’s already making a splash. Hurray. A big Well Dunne! Katie.
Meanwhile, over in Richmond, VA, SHANNON HOPKINS has left WTVR to work for @Homes.com in the video production end of their operation. And that leaves her job vacant and on the hunt. Well Dunne! Shannon on the new outside of TV opportunity.
