There are some people you don’t know face to face, but you get to know them through other means, and it’s wonderful. One such person is CORY BAYLE, who is a TV marketing pro. A Texas guy who was raised in Amarillo, he’s transitioned from day-to-day station marketing work to a slot that is making him very happy. He’s the new Instructional Television Specialist at Tarrant County College, Northeast Campus. Tarrant County is Fort Worth. Yes, he’ll be teaching once the new semester begins, and that is such great news for students. The best TV instructors I had at another Texas campus were in the biz. Cory attended Texas Tech before starting his career in radio down in Corpus then becoming CSD at KCPM back in Amarillo. That led to CSD slots in Ohio and KVII in Amarillo. The wonders of technology had him remotely promo production for Scripps News. I hope you got to see Cory’s story when it was featured on the Tamron Hall Show. He’s a great guy with a lot of talent and enthusiasm. The folks in Fort Worth are lucky indeed. Well Dunne! Cory.
