Austin, Texas is one hot market. Oracle is moving their headquarters there. Dell Computers home office has been there from the boom get-go. there. And UT has always been a solid foundation in the Texas capital. No wonder ENRICO MEYER is headed there to wrangle the KVUE marketing efforts. GM Kristie Gonzales is pumped for his arrival. He’s coming from Denver where he was Marketing Director for KUSA, the NBC affil in the Mile High city. He learned the marketing ropes there and honed his photojournalism talent there as well as at WIS in Columbia SC and WSOC in Charlotte. He’s one of those wonderful creatives that worked his way up the line. There won’t be skiing in Austin – Enrico, don’t believe the Ski Lubbock bumper stickers – but the music scene alone will make up for the Rockies. Great to hear happy news. Thanks KG and Well Dunne!
